Privily
Terms of service

Use private identities responsibly.

These terms set the ground rules for Privily accounts, temporary email, phone identities, inboxes, and protection tools. Last updated 21 September 2026.

01

Using the service

You may use Privily for lawful, legitimate privacy protection such as low-risk sign-ups, trials, newsletters, marketplace conversations, and verification flows that permit a separate address or number. You are responsible for checking the destination service's rules before using a temporary identity.

02

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for fraud, impersonation, harassment, threats, stalking, phishing, malware, credential theft, evasion of account bans or security controls, unlawful surveillance, or activity that violates another person's rights. Do not use disposable identities to create deceptive accounts, manipulate a service, or conceal abuse.

03

Messaging restrictions

Email replies and SMS must be wanted, lawful, and relevant to the recipient. Do not send bulk unsolicited messages, spam, scams, repeated unwanted outreach, or messages that violate carrier, anti-spam, or destination-service rules. SMS sending may be limited by carrier coverage, destination requirements, contact-gating, rate limits, or moderation. We may freeze sending while preserving receiving access, investigate reports, or remove phone privileges when activity creates an abuse or cost risk.

04

Account responsibilities

Keep your sign-in details private, provide information you are allowed to use, and notify us if you believe your account is compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping recovery details current. Do not rely on a temporary identity for a service that requires permanent account recovery.

05

Phone plans and third-party services

Email tools may be available without charge. Phone identities use paid telecom infrastructure and may be offered through a subscription shown at checkout. Telecom, email, exposure lookup, payment, and destination services can impose their own availability, geographic, content, and retention rules. A provider may reject or delay a message even when your account is in good standing.

06

Moderation and account action

We may review abuse reports and service signals, restrict features, suspend or close accounts, release phone numbers, or remove content when we reasonably believe these terms, the law, or provider rules have been violated. We may retain limited records needed to investigate abuse, protect other users, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.

07

Service limits and disclaimers

The service is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee delivery, uptime, anonymity, inbox permanence, acceptance by a third-party website, or that an exposure check will find every incident. You remain responsible for backups, important account access, legal compliance, and decisions made using protection results.

08

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when features, providers, or legal requirements change. Continued use after an updated version is published means you accept the revised terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
